Support Myanmar Flood Victims

To Support >>>> Please support the victims of Myanmar Floods

The aim of this fundraising is to supportMyanmar flood disaster victims from Rakhine State through local NGOs network.

Heavy monsoon rains during the month of July, have caused flooding in several parts of Myanmar and a State of Emergency has been declared in several regions  including  the Sagaing, Magway, Chin and Rakhine . This is the worst flooding in decades  in Myanmar and at least 27 people have been killed and more than 150,000 affected.

Among them, western Rakhine is the worst-hit, but the least-accessible and the least-aid is given. These includes Kyauk Taw, Mrauk Oo, Myebon and Myinbyar. More than 7,000 people are sheltering in rescue camps at 23 monasteries in Minbyar town. And moreover, Rakhine already hosts 140,000 displaced people eventhough it is one of the least-developed regions in Myanmar.

So, we picked Rakhine areas to support and have been discussing on the most effective way to reach our support to those most needed with NGOs currently working in Rakhine State. So, please donate small amounts to make a big difference because Your ONE DOLLAR  donation can feed 2 or 3 people back in Myanmar. In anticipation we Myanmar people thank you for your kind contribution no matter how big or small, it will be very much appreciated.
